Dizzy led the way and the wise and talented have followed his footsteps... pianist Danilo Perez has taken the path and his band for this tribute at the 2007 Duke Ellington Jazz Festival included trombonist Steve Turre, Claudio Roditi on trumpet, saxophonist David Sanchez, Ben Street on bass, drummer Adam Cruz and percussionist Pernell Saturnino.
